Apologies, I accidentally folded this in within week two reflection and forgot to write about this.

Although challenging, the web literacy assignment was very interesting. I have never sat down and debunked fake news before. I think the lateral reading was the most helpful tool when doing this research. By looking up different angles of the same topic, it not only helped by connecting more pieces together, but also provided more information these topics. I do believe that Lateral reading was a big help.

Another useful method was going upstream. In the debunking process, We tracked an article to a tweet, and then tracked that tweet do a different false article by an Indian company and we were able to go upstream and understand how this fake news came about.

While using lateral reading and going upstream, we were able to find out more information and track the information in order for us to debunk fake news.
